Ohio State has had a bushel full of four and five-star true running backs show interest in the program, but has yet to land any of them for the class of 2020. One of those is five-star Bijan Robinson out of Tuscon, Arizona.
He’s consistently been on the Buckeye’s radar, and most recently, he seems to be trending OSU’s way. If Ohio State gets him, they might have quarterback commit Jack Miller to thank. He’s apparently been working the Arizona kids hard and says he talks to Robinson almost every day. There’s still a long way to go but it seems to be working.
In fact, according to 247Sports‘ Crystal Ball Predictions, Ohio State is now the leader to land the 6-0, 200 pounder. He’s considered the No. 4 rated running back and 22nd overall recruit in the country.
The Buckeyes desperately need to land a quality running back in the 2020 class, and he could be the cherry on top of a pretty tantalizing recruiting class sundae. We won’t have to wait much longer to find out either. According to a story on USA Today High School Sports, Robinson is set to make his college choice via Instagram on August 2.
We will, of course, be all over that when it happens. Right now the call is that he’ll be a Buckeye, but you never know in the ebbs and flows of high-stakes college football recruiting.
