After two years of stone-cold silence, the official Twitter account for mobster-based game series Mafia has inexplicably shared one single word: 'family'.
The tweet could mean nothing, simply coinciding with Mother's Day in North America, but recently this sort of sudden activity has meant one thing: a definitive HD remaster is on the way.
While just speculation at this point, there were reports last month that Definitive Editions of Mafia 2 and Mafia 3 had appeared on the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee and that they were coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The website also listed that the games were being published by 2K Games.
Mafia 2 was first released in 2010 and rumours of a remaster first began making the rounds last year when video game company Take-Two Interactive, which owns 2K Games and Rockstar, registered trademarks for Mafia 2 and another title called MAFIA.
Maybe a Mafia 1 Remaster is coming?
With this tweet, fans are speculating on the social media website, suggesting and hoping for what this might mean.
The most popular opinion seems to be for a Mafia 1 Remaster, while others are asking for a brand new title entirely - which might not be out of the realm of possibility.
Earlier this year, the official Twitter account for Crysis, an old benchmark game for powerful PCs began tweeting after four years of silence.
Soon after this first tweet came the news that the game was going to be remastered for all consoles, even Nintendo Switch.
All we can do now is wait and see if this pans out to be a new title or a remastering of the old Mafia games.
