The odds on Roberto Martinez becoming the next permanent Scotland manager have been slashed.
The Spaniard is now a free agent after leaving his job as Portugal boss following their elimination from the World Cup in the last 16.
Scotland are looking for their next manager after Steve Clarke stepped down from the Hampden post after exiting the World Cup in the group stage.
Ange Postecoglou had been the bookies' favourite for the job but he has since taken on the role as Al Nassr manager in Saudi Arabia.
Now, Oddschecker, have Martinez as the current favourite at 2/1 for the role after 73 per cent of bets placed in the last 24 hours were put on the former Everton manager.
Falkirk boss John McGlynn is just further back at 4/1, with David Moyes, Alex Neil and Steven Naismith all priced at 5/1. Darren Fletcher is 9/1 for the role.
