NYT Strands today (game #622) - the answers

The answers to today's Strands, game #622, are…
- GLASSES
- BINOCULARS
- GOGGLES
- LENSES
- SPECTACLES
- SPANGRAM: EYETOEYE
- My rating: Hard
- My score: Perfect
Even though it was hiding in my usual starting possession I failed to see GLASSES – Oh! The irony!
Instead I spied non-game word “geese”, which instantly made me think of the excellent band of the same name and my current favorite song of theirs, Taxes, which I haven’t stopped thinking about for weeks. I think it was still on my brain as I collected other money related non-game words “lease”, “stolen”, “cost” and “sale”.
Anyway, I digress. GLASSES eventually spotted, I managed to navigate around the board finding the other seeing objects fairly easily – even if BINOCULARS did cause me a little bit of spelling difficulty. I am more of a “monocular” person.
Yesterday's NYT Strands answers (Friday, November 14, game #621)
- FAINT
- NEBULOUS
- TENUOUS
- SUBTLE
- UNDERSTATED
- SPANGRAM:BARELYTHERE
