Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has played down any advantage his side have over Arsenal due to extra rest.
The Gunners were in Europa League action on Thursday evening, beating Molde 3-0 to book their spot in the knockout stages with two games to spare.
Meanwhile, Wolves were allowed to put in the work on the training ground to prepare for their trip to the Emirates Stadium after their draw with Southampton on Monday.
And while Wolves boss Santo knows exactly what it's like to deal with a short turnaround with his side having played in the Europa League last season, he has played down any advantage his side might have this week.
“It’s not an advantage,” he said in his pre-match press conference, as reported by Birmingham Mail. “We realise the schedule for the teams that compete in Europe is very demanding.
"I am aware that the flight was delayed due to the fog but I’m positive and I know that Arsenal has a good squad, filled with talented players that can produce a strong XI.
“We cannot ever think that any aspect will take the difficulty of the game away. It’s going to be very hard for us. We have to play, compete and this is what we have in mind.”
Speaking about Arsenal and what he makes of Mikel Arteta's men, Santo added: "We know it will be a tough team, they are a very good team. The squad is full of very good players.”
Arsenal have struggled so far this season, currently in 12th place but they have the opportunity to start turning things around by leapfrogging Wolves with a win this weekend.
The short turnaround will, no doubt, provide Arteta's men with a challenge but the Spaniard did rest some of his key men for the clash in Norway, so not all of the Gunners stars will have heavy legs on Sunday.
