NSW cop charged with DV assault, stalking

A NSW police officer has been charged with domestic assault and stalking charges.

The charges follow an investigation into an alleged domestic incident in November.

A 38-year-old male senior constable was on Wednesday charged with common assault (domestic) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (domestic).

NSW police said in a statement the officer's employment was under review.

He is attached to a command in the Northern Region and due to appear at Toronto Local Court on March 7.
