Notts immigration law firm makes national top 10 less than a year after launch

After just eight months in business, a Nottingham immigration law firm is celebrating after customers ranked it in the top 10 of more than 2,000 UK solicitors.

OTB Legal, which is based in Chase Park, in  Daleside Road, Nottingham, was set up last April by directors Mark Lilley-Tams, Sally McEwen and Aldijana Hoad.

The new law firm says that it has already helped hundreds of clients with all aspects of immigration, from helping national businesses employ international staff to supporting multi-national companies relocating to the UK and reuniting families.

Clients have now ranked the firm among the best in the profession on Review Solicitor and it has also been announced as the Immigration Legal Start Up of the Year in the Innovation and Excellence Awards 2020, run by CorporateLiveWire.

OTB Legal co-founder Aldijana Hoad believes their success is down to their alternative approach and use of technology to reach a wider audience.

She said: "We know that immigration law can be challenging, with issues such as language barriers, busy workloads and misused jargon to changes in the law itself.

"So, when we set up OTB, our aim was to find simple solutions for our clients when they are in the midst of complex situations."

Aldijana said it has been a very busy few months and they were looking forward to growing the business even further in 2020.

"Brexit has been, and still is, a concern for many of our clients so we will be on hand over the coming months to help businesses and individuals discover what this could mean for them.

"We aim to build on the great feedback we are already getting from those we work with and continue to grow the OTB brand and reputation."

OTB Legal has also been shortlisted in the prestigious Legal Practice Management Awards which recognise excellence in the profession, with the winners due to be announced in February.
