Notts County set for TV dates as BT Sport make decision on National League games

Notts County's first home game of the season against Altrincham will be televised live by BT Sport as will their clash against promotion rivals Stockport County.

BT Sport has decided to showcase the Magpies' clash against Conference North promotion-winners Alty and the game has now been pushed back by a day to Wednesday, October 7.

Neal Ardley's side will also be shown live when they take on Stockport at Meadow Lane and that game has been moved forward.  It will now take place on Wednesday, November 11.

Both games have 7.45pm kick-offs.

Last season Notts featured on BT Sport five times against Barnet (twice), Chesterfield (twice), and Harrogate in the play-off final which they lost 3-1 at Wembley.

Notts' record in the National League on TV is three defeats and two wins.

With Notts having built an impressive squad over the summer, hopes are high that Neal Ardley's side can improve that record as they look to chase promotion to the Football League after just missing out on a return to the EFL last season.

Notts' first game of the season is an away trip to Dover Athletic.
