Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker has completed a move to Lincoln City, putting pen to paper on a season-long loan deal.
Coventry City had taken a strong interest in the 22-year-old this summer, but Walker is understood to have favoured a move to the Imps.
It will see him link up again with former Red Jorge Grant, who recently left the City Ground for the newly-promoted League One side.
“We like the goals he brings, he’s very single-minded. Whenever you speak to him, it’s always about the goals,” Lincoln boss Danny Cowley said of Walker.
“But he brings more than just the goals,” he added.

“He’s got really good hold-up and link-up play. He combines well, and you can play into him too.
“You look at Jorge (Grant), Jack (Payne), Bruno (Andrade) and Harry (Anderson), our creative players – and that ability to look forward to play in and combine off is something we can hopefully add into our game.”
Walker spent last term on loan at Mansfield Town, where he bagged 26 goals in 52 appearances.
He has previously had loan spells at Burton Albion, Stevenage, Port Vale and Bolton Wanderers.
Forest head coach Sabri Lamouchi is understood to have debated whether to retain the young front man as part of his squad for the Championship campaign.
