Nottingham Forest's pre-Christmas match moved for Sky Sports coverage

Nottingham Forest have seen another Championship fixture moved for television.

The Reds’ pre-Christmas visit to Millwall will now take place on Friday December 6, instead of the following day (Saturday December 7).

That game at The Den, a ground where Forest haven’t tasted a league victory since 2013, will kick-off at 7:45pm in front of the cameras.

Last term, the Reds were beaten 1-0 in south London just four days after Christmas, in what proved to be one of Aitor Karanka's final games in charge of the Reds.

Forest have proved to be one of the Championship’s most popular television picks so far this season, and with the Millwall trip now live on Sky Sports, Sabri Lamouchi’s Reds will have been broadcast eight times in the run up to Christmas, including this Sunday’s visit to face Wigan at the DW Stadium.

Already this term, Forest have seen games against Albion, Leeds United, Charlton and Stoke televised live on Sky Sports, and before the big day in December, Sabri Lamouchi’s men will also have faced The Latics, Derby and QPR in front of the cameras.

That puts them in the top six for TV coverage so far this season across the Championship and the Premier League.

Such is the renewed optimism at the City Ground, fans have snapped up more than 3,000 tickets for the 2pm kick-off, with tickets still on sale from the Reds’ ticket office.
