Head coach Sabri Lamouchi says he and Nottingham Forest will “find the right time” to discuss his contract situation.
The Frenchman penned a one-year deal at the City Ground when he was appointed back in June, and has made a significant impact in a short space of time.
The Reds currently sit fourth in the Championship table under his stewardship, leading to reports he has caught the eye of other clubs.
Watford were reported to have twice approached Lamouchi during their search for a new manager - something which has been dismissed by the 48-year-old.
And he is also said to have caught the eye of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Such talk has led to suggestions from some that it could be time for the club to start negotiations about extending his contract.

But the man himself says he has “happy” with his situation, well aware of how quickly things can change in football.
“I am happy with the people at the club, with the boss, with the CEO,” Lamouchi said when asked about his deal and whether there have been any conversations about a new one.
“They are smart and they are transparent.
“We will find the right time to discuss that.
“But is the right time now?
“We don’t know where we will be after one month, after two months.
“We want the same things - the best for Forest.
“We will just keep working, keep going; nothing else.”
