Northern Ireland weekend weather forecast as temperature to rise again

The temperature is set to slightly pick up this weekend in Northern Ireland.

According to the Met Office, it's set to reach up to 23C, with both sunshine and rain expected over the next few days.

For Thursday night, the forecaster said: "A dry and bright evening. Staying dry overnight with clear spells but some areas of mist and fog will develop. Minimum temperature 10C."

For Friday, July 29, the Met Office added: "Patchy fog will quickly clear then a dry and sunny morning. A mainly dry and warm afternoon but turning cloudier. Outbreaks of rain will spread east during the evening. Maximum temperature 23C."

And for the outlook for Saturday to Monday: " Cloudy with some rain [on] Saturday morning then sunshine and showers in the afternoon. Feeling warm. Bright spells and scattered showers on Sunday and Monday."

On Monday, August 1, a high of 19C is expected in Belfast and a low of 14C.
