Nobody was happier for Tom Brady on Sunday than LeBron James

As the two players have stayed at the top of their games while the rest of their opponents get younger, LeBron James and Tom Brady have formed an appreciation for each other over the past few years.

Brady was often cheering for James during last year’s playoffs and even used his own gaffe from the regular season to congratulate LeBron on winning his fourth championship this past October.

So when Brady got back to the top again on Sunday, winning his seventh Super Bowl ring, nobody was louder in appreciating Brady than James on social media.

James, of course, has latched onto the narratives about both he and Brady being “washed up.”

James was definitely in the mood to talk, firing off several tweets in a short span as the Bucs salted away the Super Bowl win.

James, of course, couldn’t stay away from the obvious dad puns involved with Tom Brady winning a championship in Tampa Bay.
