'No words can describe the feeling' - David Johnson reacts to his son's Nottingham Forest debut

Former Nottingham Forest striker David Johnson has reacted to seeing his son follow in his footsteps.

Brennan Johnson was a late substitute in last night's 2-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion as the 18-year-old made his Forest debut.

Johson senior, who scored 50 times in 165 games for the Reds, posted a photo on Twitter of him with Brennan on the City Ground pitch when he was a toddler, as well as one of his son entering the first team fray.

The former Jamaica international added: "No words can describe the feeling."

Brennan Johnson is an attacking midfielder and Wales youth international, who has impressed in Forest's Under-23s set-up in recent years.

He replaced Alfa Semedo with two minutes to go, but was unable to stop the Reds losing their first Championship game of the season.
