No vet days off expected for Red & White practice

The Arizona Cardinals have been managing the workload of their veteran players throughout training camp so far, which is typical. Veterans get strategic days off throughout the week.

However, with the annual Red & White practice taking place on Saturday afternoon, everyone who is healthy is set to practice. No veterans are scheduled to have the afternoon off.

“We’re going to get some good work and everybody’s up, outside of the guys who have not been,” said head coach Kliff Kingsbury after the team’s morning walkthrough.

That means fans will get to see the full starting offensive line with veterans J.R. Sweezy and Marcus Gilbert. They will get to see Larry Fitzgerald practice and, on defense, Terrell Suggs, Corey Peters, Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson will all suit up.

The practice is scheduled from 1:30-4:00 p.m. at State Farm Stadium.
