James Bond's explosive No Time To Die trailer sees 007 face apocalyptic danger

No Time To Die has released its epic new trailer as Daniel Craig returns for his final outing as James Bond.

The thriller was due to be released back in March but was delayed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Now the film will be released in November and will see fans finally get to see Daniel Craig back as 007 for the fifth and final time.

The new footage in the trailer sees James back out of retirement to face off with the evil new threat of Safin (Rami Malek) who has acquired some dangerous new technology and threatens the balance of the globe.

We also get to see Bond unite with beautiful Cuban CIA agent Paloma, played by Craig's Knives Out co-star Ana de Armas, who displays her own combat skills in the clip.

Elsewhere, Bond finds a prickly ally in new 00-operative Nomi (Lashana Lynch), while old favourite Q (Ben Whishaw) seems to be out in the field to help Bond.

The trailer also teases Bond's tense relationship with former flame Dr. Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) whose dark past and links to Safin come back to help her.

But how does SPECTRE boss and Bond's old foster brother Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) fit into proceedings?

It's not too much longer to find out!

The footage follows the stunning poster released earlier this week.

The film also stars Jeffrey Wright as Bond's CIA pal Felix Leiter, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ralph Fiennes as M.

Elsewhere, fans have already been theorizing that Oscar-winner Rami Malek is in fact playing the classic Bond villain Dr. Julius No, first seen in the first Bond outing Dr. No in 1962.

The clues were in earlier trailers but the setting of Safin's headquarter only bear similarities to the villain's in the first film.

The new outing is directed by Kiwi talent Cary Joji Fukunaga and has a script co-written by Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

The question remains, however, how will Craig's Bond bow out?

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on November 12, 2020.
