‘No one in Hollywood rates them’: Harry and Meghan’s dreams have come crashing down and there’s no one to catch them

With the recent news of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s $100 million Netflix deal falling through it seems like the couple are fast running out of options. Now an apparent insider who works for the streaming giant has revealed a little more info as to why the Sussexes might very well be done in Hollywood.

The unnamed source spoke with the MailOnline and explained that a number of factors resulted in Harry and Meghan losing their deal with Netflix. Another “nail in the coffin” was the apparent failure of Meghan’s Napa Valley wine of which there was very little demand for among other things.

Hollywood is Done with Meghan and Harry

The insider also claimed that “No one in Hollywood rates them anymore or wants to be around them, especially her,” going on to add that “People are bored with them.” This claim certainly seems to hold some truth to it as we’ve seen numerous high-profile celebrities drop the couple in recent months. One of the more notable examples includes A-lister John Travolta whom Harry was reportedly quite close with until the actor cut contact with the Prince leaving him feeling “furious”  and “humiliated.”

However, it seems things are even worse for Meghan who’s not only lost her A-lister friends, but her brand is suffering too. According to the source, Markle’s lack of consistency when it comes to promoting her brand has led to people to become bored with her.

“Many stars go silent and in the background are building their brand and equity but it feels like Harry and Meghan are losing their way even more.”

The Sussexes are running out of options

With few allies left in California and their brand failing it seems like the canceled Netflix deal is just another thing to add to the list. The couple were very much in demand when they first set up shop in the U.S. but they quickly became old news. Netflix was able to make good use of their stardom with their first Documentary, Harry & Meghan, but subsequent projects such as With Love, Meghan have failed to capture the audience’s attention. They had their 15 minutes of fame but Hollywood is done with them now.

It’s unclear what they’ll do next as the MailOnline source claims they are “running out of options of who will work with them.” The royal family will likely not extend themselves to help the Sussexes even if Harry and Charles are slowly working things out. With no royal allies and no celebrity friends to rely on it seems the couple are well and truly on their own this time. Hollywood is a brutal place sometimes, but that’s showbiz for you.
