No injury concerns for Rams, Gerald Everett (back) after Week 1

For the most part, the Rams have done a good job avoiding injuries in the last three-plus years, and that’s continued into this season, too. Coming out of Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, the Rams are just about fully healthy with only minor bumps and bruises.

Sean McVay shared an injury update Monday after the team’s season-opening win, saying things look good for Week 2.

“Your typical bumps and bruises, but we came out of it clean,” said McVay. “Don’t expect anybody to be affected as far as their ability to practice this week and that was a real positive.”

Gerald Everett was the only Rams player to leave the game with an injury, exiting after hurting his back in the third quarter. He returned late in the game, a good sign for his availability in the coming week.

McVay said he’s going to be OK, which is encouraging.

“Yeah, he got his back banged up a little bit. But, he ended up coming back in at the end of the game and he’ll be OK,” he said.

The Rams have the Eagles up next, traveling across the country for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff in Philadelphia.
