No-fly zone near naval installations in Visakhapatnam

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Indian Navy declared a ‘No Fly Zone’ in a radius of 3 kms from the perimeter of Indian Naval installations in the city.

All individuals and civil agencies are prohibited from flying any non-conventional aerial objects including drones or unmanned vehicles (UAVs) within this zone. If any non-conventional aerial object including the drones or UAVs found flying in the area, the Indian Navy warned that it would destroy or confiscate them.

Any operator found violating the orders would be charged under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code.
