No big deal, but James Harden is nearing a Michael Jordan record

James Harden needs 14 rebounds to join Michael Jordan to be one of two players in NBA history with 2,700 points, 500 assists and 500 rebounds in a season.

He needs 77 points and 14 rebounds to become the first player ever with 2,800 points, 500 assists and 500 rebounds in a season.

The Rockets host the New York Knicks on Friday night, and after that, have just two more games left in this 2018-19 campaign.

Harden leads the league points per game (36.3), made three-pointers (363) and total points (2,723). He’s also second in the league with steals per game at 2.1 and among guards, he’s fourth in rebounds per game at 6.

We also wonder where we can get a time machine and put Harden against Jordan just for one game only. Please, world?

It is truly crazy how many accolades Harden has racked up this season. You gotta love to see it.
