Nine more people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals having tested positive for Covid-19.
It means the death toll from the virus at our hospitals now stands at 2,387.
On Wednesday four more deaths were recorded at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust, while another two deaths were reported at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust each recorded one more death.

According to the latest NHS England figures a further 68 people, who tested positive for coronavirus, have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 30,662.
Of those 25 were in the North West, by far the highest regional number.
Patients were aged between 48 and 98 years old. All except four, who were aged between 65 and 93, had known underlying health conditions.

These are cases where a patient has tested positive for the virus or where Covid-19 is mentioned on their death certificate.
The daily figures sometimes include previously uncounted deaths that took place several days - or even weeks ago.
