Nine public schools across the ACT will be open in Term 2 for those students who cannot stay home.
The ACT government has chosen to keep schools closed for the term and deliver remote learning instead.
The nine so-called "campus hubs" will be open for students who need to attend, such as children of essential workers.
It was announced on Wednesday the following sites will be opened for students:
- Amaroo School
- Caroline Chisholm school
- Charles Weston school
- Gordon primary school
- Kingsford Smith School
- Majura Primary School
- Mawson primary school
- Maribyrnong Primary School
- Red Hill Primary School
The territory's four specialist schools: Black Mountain School, Cranleigh School, Woden School and Malkara school would also remain open.
They would be staffed by teachers, allied health professionals and contracted health organisations.
Education Minister Yvette Berry said the government would expand the number of opened sites, if needed.
About 1400 students require supervision.
But Ms Berry said students would not be turned away if they showed up to their normal school.
"If students turn up unexpectedly to their school, they will not be turned away," she said.
"If families turn up to their normal public school site there will by staff at those schools to ensure students are safe and support them to access one of the supervised sites.
"The reason why we have moved to consolidate sites is to allow students to have equitable access to high quality learning experiences."

Teachers would not be required to deliver remote and face-to-face teaching, Ms Berry said.
Parents who have already indicated to the ACT Education Directorate that their children would need to attend one of the hubs would receive information on Wednesday evening about which site they should go to.
