Nightlife booking app Viper sets sights on other ‘major’ UK cities

Manchester nightlife booking app Viper is looking to expand into other “major” UK cities.

Viper, which was founded by Craig Davies, Craig Gidley and Stephen Powell in 2017, allows users queue jump in real time, upgrade to VIP and purchase drinks packages.

Viper said it is seeking further partnerships after securing seed investment as they look to launch in Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham and London.

The app is also looking to expand its PR and marketing division by creating launch campaigns for other venues.

Powell said: “With such a successful business model in place, we are keen to start thinking about ways we can expand this into other cities and welcome conversations with potential investors.

“We have proven that Viper is a sustainable business model that provides the bars we work with incredible PR and marketing support, establishing them as go-to destinations.”

Davies added: “When we launched Viper here in Manchester two years ago, we had spotted a real gap in the market, something that provided a premium service for users, a revolutionary way to experience a night out.

“We’re incredibly proud of everything we have built up since then and have expanded our remit within the realms of PR and marketing.”
