Nigerians release US journalist after three days

Nigerian secret police have freed an American journalist who was arrested by the navy for photographing an oil facility. Ed Kashi of the National Geographic Magazine and his Nigerian assistant had been held for three days. Both were released without charge though they were told they had no permit to take photographs.
