Nigerian newspaper boss arrested

Sam Asowata, chairman of a Nigerian independent newspaper, Fresh Facts, has been under arrest for two days along with his daughter. Their detention came three days after the arrest of the paper's distributor, Essien Ewoh. The most recent issue of the paper announced that the next one would carry a story about a suspicious housing deal involving the governor of the southeastern state of Akwa Ibom.
