Nicole Kidman wore a sheer, embroidered metal-and-tulle tunic from Fendi's Fall 2026 Couture collection to the "Lioness" Season 3 premiere, held July 29 at the SVA Theater in New York, according to Page Six, People, and W Magazine.
The tunic featured intricate silver-toned beaded embroidery and a scalloped, draped hemline over sheer mesh construction, with a sleeveless, crew-neck silhouette that combined structured tailoring at the shoulders with the fluid drape of the panels below. Kidman paired the top with ivory-toned trousers and open-toe sandals.
The tunic comes from Maria Grazia Chiuri's debut couture collection for Fendi, her first as the house's creative director. According to Page Six, Kidman's jewelry included Roberto Coin pieces, among them a gold serpent-shaped bracelet.
The metallic construction of the tunic visually echoes armor, a resemblance that reads as a natural fit for a premiere tied to "Lioness," a series built around military and intelligence themes.
"Lioness" returns for its third season on Paramount+ on August 2, with Kidman starring alongside Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira. The look has drawn attention from fashion outlets as one of the more distinctive pieces to emerge from Chiuri's early output at Fendi.
