Nick Cannon is mourning the loss of his five-month son, Zen, who died on December 5.
The father has now reflected on coming to terms with the devastating tragedy and told how he regrets 'not spending more time' and 'taking more photos' of his son.
Little Zen - who Nick shared with model Alyssa Scott - died from a brain tumour and prior to his passing the comedian did not reveal his son's health battle.
Speaking on his grief, Nick told PEOPLE : "I wish I could have done more, spent more time with him, taken more pictures. I wish I could have hugged him longer."
Nick also told that wants to bring happiness to others despite him navigating a tough time himself.

He said: "My goal is to make everyone smile every day and to forget about their worries, so at no moment did I ever think I'd be crying on live television," he says. "I really believe you can't heal until you feel."
Zen was Nick's youngest and seventh child and the American TV personality heartbreakingly revealed the tot died on his Nick Cannon Show.
Nick said on the show that Zen's brain tumour - caused had grown at a rapid pace.
He said: "Over the weekend, I lost my youngest son to a condition called hydrocephalus…brain cancer.
Sharing on how he and Alyssa grew concerned after Zen started to develop a sinus issue at around two months old and his head seemed large, he explained that they sought medical advice which led to doctors telling them that fluid had started to build up in the little boy's head.
"We didn’t think anything of it," Nick said of the time. "But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine."

Doctors discovered a tumour that required immediate surgery, but sadly it didn't improve things.
Nick is father to twins Morocco and Monroe, 10, who he shares with ex Mariah Carey, and Golden, four, and Powerful, 11 months, who he shares with Brittany Bell.
He also shares twins Zillion and Zion, five months, with Abby De La Rosa.
