Niall Horan 'steals the spotlight' at Lewis Capaldi's gig

Niall Horan stole the spotlight at Lewis Capaldi's gig in Atlanta over the weekend.

The former One Direction member surprised fans by taking to the stage on Saturday, April 1 in the middle of Capaldi's gig, the first night of the North American leg of his world tour. The pair hugged on stage and then Lewis snapped a pic of Niall for his BeReal.

The two singers have been friends for several years now, and even made a documentary together last year travelling to Niall's hometown in Ireland. Fans go wild for pictures and videos of the two together celebrating their 'bromance', and this weekend's video was no different.

Posting the video on Instagram, Capaldi said: "POV: Niall Horan steals the spotlight at your show", and in the caption said: "It's time to BeReal" along with two yellow warning signs that users of the app will be familiar with.

In the video, Niall takes to stage with thousands of fans screaming in the crowd, before posing to be Lewis' BeReal. After that, the two share a hug before Niall heads back off stage.

People in the comments were loving the video, with many hoping the two will collaborate on a song in the future. One person said: "Still waiting for the collab" and another said: "Soo... do we get a collab or not?"

Others were holding out hope that Lewis would be the one to reunite One Direction, as he and Harry Styles are also good friends, and grabbed headlines when they shared a kiss at the 2023 Grammy awards. One person said: "Lewis will be the one that ends up bringing 1D back together" and another said: "Lewis Capaldi: The 6th member of 1D".

Some were just excited to see the two singers together. One person said: "IF THIS ISN'T FRIENDSHIP IDK WHAT IS" and another said: "best duo to walk this earth."
