Nex has partnered with the NHL to launch NHL Puck Rush, the first-ever sports league title for the Nex Playground, an active play console designed to get families moving together.
NHL Puck Rush lets fans connect with their favorite NHL teams through fast-paced, full-body gameplay that captures the energy of real hockey. Players have a set amount of time to score as many goals as possible, combining physical movement, competition and team pride in one immersive experience. The game is built for players ages six and up and is meant to be just as fun for casual fans as it is for diehard hockey lovers.
At launch, players can expect several core features, with more content and special programming arriving later in the season. Fans can represent their favorite NHL teams and contribute to team standings on the global leaderboard, sparking friendly rivalries along the way. As they play, they’ll unlock exclusive items like team jerseys, sticks, pucks and mascots. Leaderboards track both team and individual performance, adding an extra layer of competition for those chasing the top spot.
Fans can try NHL Puck Rush in person from October 7–9 at the NHL Shop NYC flagship store. Visitors will also receive 20% off a Nex Playground console when ordering from the official online store. Interested fans can order now from Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and more. Nex also plans to make the system easier to find with retail availability expanding into Canada later this month.
The Nex Playground is a motion-powered console that turns physical movement into gameplay, offering an easy and engaging way for families to stay active together. It’s kidSAFE+ COPPA certified, meaning there are no online interactions, ads or in-game purchases. All motion-tracking data stays on the device, and a built-in camera cover adds another layer of privacy. With more than 250,000 units sold, Nex Playground continues to grow as one of the leading family gaming systems on the market.
