We’ve already seen some deals before the NFL’s Oct. 31 trade deadline, including names like Kevin Byard and Van Jefferson.
But given the recent history of NFL wheeling and dealing before the deadline, there might be some notable trades coming on Tuesday that could change the landscape of the league.
So with one day to go before the 4 p.m. ET deadline, let’s look at the latest trade rumors and scuttlebutt as we get ready for a fun Halloween day filled with speculation, news and a constant refreshing of X whether your team is a buyer or if your bad squad is selling.

Could Jacoby Brissett be the next journeyman quarterback to be traded?
The Minnesota Vikings plugged a hole by trading for Joshua Dobbs, who’ll serve as a veteran presence amidst the team’s suddenly shaky QB rotation. Brissett could be the next domino to fall, though the Washington Commanders’ asking price may scare off any potential suitors.

Teams looking to add Tee Higgins are gonna be disappointed
The Cincinnati Bengals are back in the playoff hunt after a customary slow start and Joe Burrow is playing like an MVP candidate after an early injury. So, logically, they aren’t interested in subtracting from that offense — even if wideout Tee Higgins is a pending free agent who may leave come 2024.

The Commanders have more to sell at the deadline -- including Chase Young
Washington dealt one young pending free agent pass rusher before the 4 p.m. ET deadline. Could another be close behind? Per Ian Rapoport, the Commanders are listening to offers on former No. 2 overall pick Chase Young, who has five sacks in seven games this season.

One team who may be interested? The New England Patriots, who are sending out mixed signals in the midst of a lost season.
The Patriots have gotten calls about some of their expected trade candidates like Josh Uche and Zeke Elliott, per sources.
They've also made calls. They've checked in on the price for Commanders DE Chase Young and could be players for the star pass rusher.

The Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers are in the cornerback market
Both Buffalo and San Francisco could use a sideline defender capable of shifting some of their less tidy cornerbacks into slot duty. There’s no one better on the trade market that Chicago Bears’ starter Jaylon Johnson, who was granted permission to seek a trade Monday night. Per ESPN’s Ed Werner, the Bills and 49ers have been in contact with Bears general manager Ryan Poles about a deal.

Will the Patriots move Ezekiel Elliott?
Elliott has been a useful RB2 in New England, but the Patriots have little to play for after a 2-6 start and dreadful offensive play even before losing top wideout Kendrick Bourne to a torn ACL in Week 8. That could make the former All-Pro a low-cost commodity for teams looking for a pile-driving runner.

Could the Bears add some premier pass rushing talent?
The Bears may be both buyers AND sellers at this year’s trade deadline. Chicago Tribune reporter Brad Biggs suggests the team has reached out to add some veteran talent to punch up its pass rush.

Early rumbles suggest the object of Chicago’s affection may be one, or both, of the Washington Commanders’ Chase Young/Montez Sweat pairing. If so, it signals a distinct selling period in the nation’s capital.
