NFL Scouting Combine to expand coverage to network TV

In addition to the NFL Network’s expansive coverage of the National Scouting Combine, which will take place Fri. March 1 through Monday, March 4, ABC will be live broadcasting the quarterback and wide receiver drills on Sat. March 2 at 10:00 a.m. PT.

This will be the first time in combine history the event is broadcast on network television, giving fans who don’t have NFL Network a chance to see their favorite college stars in action as they prepare for their football future.

The Seahawks only have four selections in April’s NFL Draft, but they have a long history of trading back in the draft to collect more picks.

If they employ that strategy this year, there is a good chance they could snag a few more picks to bring more players into camp to compete for jobs on the 2019 squad.

The combine will host over 300 collegiate athletes this year, of which at least a handful will end up in the blue and green next season.
