NFL Playoff picture: Update playoff scenarios after Vikings lose to the Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles win over the Dallas Cowboys in their Week 16 matchup put the Birds firmly in the driver seat for an NFC East title.

The Birds can now win the NFC East with the following two scenarios taking place:

1. The Eagles beat the Giants in Week 17.

2. The Eagles lose to the Giants in Week 17, and the Cowboys lose to Washington in Week 17.

Winning the NFC East locks the Eagles into the No.4 seed with nowhere else to go and after Monday Night Football, only one scenario will dictate their opponent for Wild Card weekend.

With the Vikings loss on Monday night football, the Eagles will host the loser of the Seahawks-49ers Sunday Night Football til in Week 17.

The 49ers are currently 3.5 point road favorites in Seattle.
