Let’s look at Week Two of the NFL. It was an ugly start to Week 1 on Thursday, but it ended with a bang and a great contest on early Monday as New Orleans edged Houston at the buzzer. This week, there aren’t many marquee matchups but we do have Minnesota at Green Bay, New Orleans looks for revenge at the LA Rams and Atlanta hosts Philadelphia to highlight Sunday’s action.

*Minnesota looked dominant against Atlanta and the Packers did what they needed to beat the Bears on the road in Week 1. Aaron Rodgers has a few extra days of rest to prepare for a Minnesota team he hasn’t beaten since 2016. That comes to an end on Sunday from Lambeau Field as Rodgers becomes more comfortable with Matt LaFleur’s system. Lay the three points.
*Drew Brees is amazing and delivered a last-second drive to lead the Saints to the opening win over Houston. But now he has to travel to Los Angeles on a short week and yes, despite this being a revenge game for the Saints from last season’s controversial overtime loss in the NFC Championship game, the Rams have the edge. Lay the small number despite the great story as the Saints’ secondary can’t handle the Rams’ receivers.
*Atlanta is currently a dog on Sunday night after a putrid performance on the road against the Vikings last week. The Eagles had a great second half against Washington after sleepwalking in the first half. The Eagles have won three straight, including an ugly 18-12 opening game last season at home. It’s tough to like Atlanta in this spot, even at home, because Matt Ryan looks like he’s on the decline and Carson Wentz is healthy-at the moment. Lay the wood on the road.
