Neymar's telling eight-word message to PSG chief as star looks set to quit

A Spanish report claims that Neymar is determined to turn his back on Paris Saint-Germain after two seasons at the club, and is targeting a return to former side Barcelona .

The Brazilian signed a five-year contract when he moved from Barca to PSG for around £200million in 2017, but he has seemingly become disillusioned with life in Paris amid injury issues and struggles with form.

And now Mundo Deportivo claim to have the inside track on his desire to the return to the Nou Camp, where he played for four seasons and struck up a formidable strike union with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, scoring 105 goals in 186 games and winning two La Liga titles and the Champions League.

The report focuses in on one partcular eight-word demand from Neymar, who it is said has told PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi: "I want to go back to my house" in reference to a return to Barca.

It is claimed that this is what Neymar has told friends in the Barca dressing room as well, with the claim reported being what prompted Al-Khelaifi into giving a damning interview with France Football magazie.

"I want players that are ready to give everything to defend the honour of our shirt and who sign up to the club’s project," Al-Khelaifi told the publication.

"Those who do not want to, or do not understand it, we meet and we speak. There are of course contracts to respect, but the priority now is complete commitment to our project.

"Nobody forced him [Neymar] to sign here. Nobody pushed him to. He came with a fully understanding of the cause to sign up to a project."
