Neymar has revealed he wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain this summer, but admits he has been left in the dark over the Ligue 1 champions' plans.
The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes, with reports suggesting Chelsea and Manchester City have been monitoring his situation in Paris, while Newcastle United - fuelled by the financial power from their ambitious owners - have been mentioned as potential suitors.
The 30-year-old, who arrived in a world-record €222million (£198m) deal from Barcelona in 2017, signed a new contract last summer to extend his time at the club and reiterated his desire to stay with the French giants.
But the Brazil international has conceded he does not know whether he and PSG share the same vision regarding his future. “I want to stay at Paris Saint Germain," he told AFP.
"No one from the club told me anything about the plans for my future, as things stand. I don’t know what kind of plans they have for me - I want to stay."
Neymar's future has been thrown into doubt as Luis Campos, the new sporting director at PSG who replaced Leonardo, was considering offloading the world-class forward.

According to Le Parisien, City were offered the chance to sign the winger in recent weeks, with a swap deal involving Bernardo Silva discussed between the clubs. But City were firm in their response, refusing to entertain any situation that would see the Portuguese leave in an exchange.
When Pep Guardiola was asked about his interest in Neymar, the City head coach was clear in dismissing any suggestion that he would be interested, or already had made a move for the former Santos man.

“I’m sorry but it’s not true. The information is not right," Guardiola said. "Neymar is an incredible player and the info I have is that he’s an incredibly nice guy. But it’s not right. Every summer Manchester City are going to buy 150 players.”
Chelsea, being one of few clubs who could afford Neymar's eye-watering salary demands, had explored the possibility of signing the attacker before they clinched a £47.5m deal for Raheem Sterling.
Thomas Tuchel worked with him at PSG and would have been keen to reunite at Stamford Bridge, but it does not appear likely that will occur this summer.
