Children can make decorations for their home this Christmas in festive workshops taking place at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle.
The gallery will be hosting a pick of three activities during a special late-opening shopping evening in December.
And the idea is that young ones can be left to get creative during the workshops, which will be led by artists, while the adults indulge in a spot of me-time.
The gallery, in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle , will be holding its Fill Your Stockings event on the evening of December 11 which will include a chance for festive shopping and to enjoy refreshments at a street food pop-up until 9pm.
And during that time there will be opportunities for young ones to join one of The Little Biscuits workshops where they won't need to be accompanied by a grown-up as they will be under the watchful eye of an artist or art teacher. Aimed at seven to 13-year-olds, these 45-minute sessions will each cost £10 per child.
The first, running from 5.30pm until 6.15pm, will be Baubles and Stars, where children can hand-craft textile decorations to adorn their tree.
Then from 6.30pm to 7.15pm, Wire Decorations will involve making an animal or a decoration using an assortment of textiles, colourful wires and lights. And the last workshop, 7.30pm-8.15pm, will be Garlands and Wreaths bringing an opportunity to create a classic, simple wreath or garland for the tree or door.
