An alleged drink-driver ploughed into a pram with a newborn baby inside, sending the buggy spinning into the air as the child's horrified mum looked on.
Distressing dashcam video has emerged showing the mother pushing the pram at a zebra crossing when the car fails to stop and smashes into it at speed.
The three-month-old boy was rescued from the mangled pushchair and rushed to a hospital's intensive care unit, where a surgeon said it was a "miracle" he survived.
The 39-year-old driver was arrested and tests revealed that his blood-alcohol level was nine times the legal limit, according to police in Energodar, Ukraine.

The surgeon said the boy escaped serious injury in Friday's horror smash.
Footage shows a woman dressed in a green winter jacket pushing a pram across a two-lane road at a pedestrian crossing.
When she reaches the second lane, a white speeding car comes into view and smashes into the pram.

it catapults the pushchair about 6ft into the air before it lands hard onto the road on its side.
The terrified mother can be seen rushing to the buggy and trying to pull the child out of it to see if he is OK.
Meanwhile, two men get out of the car in haste and hurry to the woman.

Later, the 34-year-old mother, Maria Tkachenko, told local media: "The driver ran up to me with apologies and I felt a strong smell of alcohol coming from him.
"I do not want him to serve a sentence in prison but I want him to be banned from driving."
Her baby was taken to intensive care where he was carefully examined by doctors.

Kostyantyn Markov, a surgeon at the Zaporizhia Regional Children's Hospital, told local media: "It's a miracle that the boy survived and apparently did not receive severe injuries.
"He does not have visible signs of head trauma or bone fractures.
"His condition is stable. We are monitoring him 24 hours a day."
The 39-year-old driver was detained by the police and sent for a medical examination.
Medics allegedly found 1.85ppm of alcohol in his blood, which is nine times above the norm, according to local media.
The man was arrested and criminal proceedings were initiated.

A police source said to local media: "The driver crashed into the pram with the baby inside at the pedestrian crossing.
"The child was hospitalised.
"The mother was not injured due to the incident.''
Mrs Tkachenko said her baby son will be staying in the hospital until doctors have finished all necessary examinations.
The suspect faces up to three years in prison if found guilty.
