New Yorkers have blessed the late David Bowie with his own street.
Fans took the streets of Houston and Bowery during the the city's second largest snowstorm in history. Twenty-seven inches of snowfall on Saturday didn't prevent the members of the Lisa Project from renaming street to "David Bowery."
The sign rests above the famous Bowery Wall, where a crew of artists rushed to christen the street for Bowie, the legendary shape-shifting musician who lived nearby on Lafayette Street. The 69-year-old rocker passed away on January 10 after an 18-month fight with cancer.
