New York tabloids had a field day with the Knicks losing out on No. 1 pick

You knew this had to be coming from the New York Post and Daily News the day after the New York Knicks missed out on the best chance possible for the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

The franchise ended up with the No. 3 pick thanks to the draft lottery, so the tabloids used their back pages as they usually do — remember what they’ve done with the Odell Beckham Jr. trade or the Mets batting out of order or benching Eli Manning in 2017? — to sum up how fans feel.

Here’s what the Daily News did and it’s a clear winner:
