This win helped San Francisco leap ahead in the Super Bowl odds. The 49ers now hold +333 odds to win the title in February, according to SI Sportsbook. Before Sunday’s win, the 49ers were tied alongside the reigning champion Chiefs and the reigning runners-up Eagles for the best odds to win the Lombardi Trophy. Kansas City has +500 odds, followed by Philadelphia with +550 odds.

Not only did San Francisco launch forward in the Super Bowl odds, but quarterback Brock Purdy now holds the best chance to win Super Bowl MVP with +300 odds.
Purdy also surpassed Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts by earning the best regular season MVP odds according to various sportsbooks. SI Sportsbook has the young quarterback with the second-best odds (+338) behind Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott (+324). The second-year pro had the fifth-best odds in most sportsbooks ahead of Sunday’s game.
In Sunday’s win, Purdy completed 19-of-27 passes for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
