Rangers have announced a new investor at Ibrox as the club continue to attract interested businessmen.
'Perron Investments LLC' has been confirmed on the club's Investor Information page to have acquired a 4.16 per cent stake in the club, totalling 16,250,000 shares.
The beneficial owner of those shares, John Halsted, is the president of Pamplona Capital Management, a multinational asset management firm with offices in London, New York, Boston, Malta, Monaco and Madrid.
The club's website stated: "John Halsted has advised that he is the beneficial owner of the shares held by Perron Investments LLC."
Information from Companies House show Rangers allotted the exact number of new shares bought by Halsted/Perron Investments on March 19.
It's a sign that the club's continued on-field success is gaining momentum in the world of business, as that came just 12 days on from Steven Gerrard and his players' Premiership title win.
The club's largest shareholder still remains former chairman Dave King. Late last year, King outlined his commitment to selling his shares to fan organisation, Club 1872.
Asia-based investor Stuart Gibson has also increased his shareholding to over 10 per cent.
