New Poundland shop will open its doors in West Lothian

Poundland will open a new store in Broxburn next Saturday (May 22), creating 15 new jobs.

The new store, at 122 East Main Street, Broxburn, will employ 15 colleagues and, at more than 6600 square feet, the former Peacocks unit will offer shoppers a wide range of items, including PEP&CO clothing for the whole family, ornaments, photo frames and trendy throws.

Customers will also be offered everyday essentials, including groceries, drinks, snacks, cleaning products, health and beauty, as well as entertainment, stationery and craft items.

Poundland retail and transformation director, Austin Cooke, said: “We’re very excited about opening our Broxburn store which is in a fantastic location right in the heart of the town.

“It’s a great addition to our network of stores in Livingston and Bathgate, and we’re really pleased to be creating new jobs.”
