New pint glass invented which can be carried four at a time

The Bank Holiday is just around the corner and with it comes the promise of good times spent with friends. Whether you’re watching sports or going down the local, no-one wants to spend precious time going to and from the bar repeatedly.

Now Carling, has launched easy carry pint glasses, coming this month to pubs across the UK, which makes it easy to carry up to four pints at a time.

The new design incorporates vertical grooves which help the glasses interlock together, whilst embossed lettering creates a tactile grip.

The glasses are wider at the top and thinner towards the middle which creates a natural gap, allowing hands to easily wrap around. What’s more the nucleated bottom keeps pints fresher for longer.

Met Office has its say on summer heat wave reports

Miranda Osborne, Brand Director at Carling said: "Our aim was to create the perfect glass for the perfect pint, whilst responding to the needs of our customers.

"We know our customers can feel uncomfortable leaving drinks on the bar because they can’t carry them all, so we wanted to design something that could help alleviate this problem.

"This is why we created our new easy carry glasses. We hope people find getting pints in for friends, a far more comfortable experience now - we look forward to hearing consumer’s feedback.”
