New Neighbourhood 'low impact life store' coming to Shawlands

A brand new 'low impact life store' will soon open in Shawlands, with Neighbourhood set to arrive on Skirving Street.

The shop will sell sustainable alternative and small brand products in the south side including the likes of chocolate and homewares, while there will also be space for sit in or takeaway coffees and baked goods.

An opening date is yet to be confirmed, however its hoped Neighbourhood will start welcoming in customers later this autumn.

Speaking to Glasgow Live, the team behind the new store explained: "In terms of what we are selling it’s a store focused on offering a sustainable alternative and small brands.

"So ethically made coffee, chocolate, homewares etc. an refills of everyday essential foods- rice, flour, pasta and whole foods plus refills of plant based home cleaning and body care products.

"We will also have sit in/take away coffee and baked goods.

"It will be an all round sustainable shopping experience."
