New look News at Ten divides opinion and bothers clock-watchers

ITV’s relaunched News at Ten, fronted by Tom Bradby, divided opinion on Twitter with some saying Bradby’s conversational style was reminiscent of US anchors and “refreshing” and “engaging”, while others thought “it was more like Chris Morris from Brass Eye. It was awful”. The ratings told their own tale with figures showing the BBC’s 10pm bulletin drew around 4.1 million viewers and News at Ten 1.6 million. But Monkey’s man with the stopwatch reckoned the ITV bulletin started a couple of minutes late. And Monkey thought the News at When headlines were over.
