New footage shows Gabby Petito in supermarket with fiancé hours before she was killed

Footage shows the last moments of Gabby Petito caught on a supermarket CCTV walking with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie just hours before she was killed.

Gabby's remains were later found in a nearby swamp.

Gabby, 22, and Laundrie, 23, had been travelling across the United States documenting their travels on social media when the young woman was reported missing on September 11 last year.

Laundrie disappeared within days and a warrant for his arrest was issued on September 23, four days after Gabby's strangled body was found. His remains were discovered in October.

In the footage, released by Fox News and filmed on August 27 2021, Gabby's distinct white Ford Transit can be seen pulling into the parking lot of a Wyoming Whole Foods.

This happened shortly after the couple had left a nearby restaurant following an argument between Laundrie and staff there.

The pair remain in the car for a minute before Laundrie gets out slamming the door as he goes followed a few moments behind by Gabby.

The two approach the Whole Foods, Gabby with her arms crossed and Laundrie with his face hidden by a hat and glasses.

They remain in the store for around 15 minutes, picking up a few items such as cheese and then both leave through a different doorway.

After getting back to the van they sit in place for another 20 minutes before pulling out onto Highway 89, the road north to Bridger-Teton National Forest campsite where Gabby's remains were found three weeks later.

Jackson police told the paper that they recovered the footage after Gabby was reported missing.

Jackson Police Lt. Russ Ruschill said: "The attempt to locate was the first thing we'd ever heard about Gabby Petito,"

The FBI have confirmed Laundrie admitted murdering his partner Gabby Petito in a notepad found next to his body.

The 23-year-old took his own life as a massive manhunt was launched following Gabby's death.

It has been revealed that he returned home to Florida and went camping along with his family.

In a statement wrapping up its investigation the FBI said: “A review of the notebook revealed written statements by Mr Laundrie claiming responsibility for Ms Petito’s death.”

Petito family attorney Richard Stafford praised investigators for their “diligent and painstaking efforts in this extremely complicated case”.

A backpack and notepad belonging to Laundrie was found near his body and although the corpse had been scavenged by alligators and wild pigs, an examination of dental records proved conclusively that it was him.
