New edition of Harry and Meghan biography coming with chapters on Oprah interview

A new edition of the Harry and Meghan biography Finding Freedom will be released this summer, including additional chapters on the couple’s Oprah interview.

The biography written by journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand was first published in August last year.

The book detailed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s meeting in 2016 to their exit from the royal family in 2020.

It sold 31,000 copies in the UK in the first five days of its release, according to figures from data provider Nielsen Book.

The biography is now being updated with new chapters which will document the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah last month, as well as allegations Meghan, who is pregnant with her second child, bullied palace staff and the death of Prince Philip, The Sunday Times reports.

The new version will go on sale on August 5 and will also touch on their lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify as well as their new life in the US.

Finding Freedom contained intimate details of Harry and Meghan’s lives and relationship, but the couple maintained they did not contribute to the book.

Harry left the UK earlier this week after attending Prince Philip's funeral.

It was the first time he saw his family since making explosive allegations during the interview with Oprah.
