New Eastenders family set for ‘explosive’ Albert Square entrance

EastEnders is set to introduce a new family, the Hawkins, this summer, promising an "explosive impact" on the BBC soap.
The Hawkins clan are the estranged relatives of Nicola Mitchell, and their arrival will bring "old wounds" and "complicated family dynamics" to Walford.
Notable actors joining the cast include Jamie Bamber, Marian McLoughlin, and Patricia Potter, alongside Felix Uff and Anna Constable.
Marian McLoughlin will play Rose, Nicola's mother, with Patricia Potter and Anna Constable as her sisters Gemma and Jodie, respectively.
Jamie Bamber will portray Ned, Gemma's husband, and Felix Uff will play their son, Ryder, completing the new family unit.
