New client wins spur growth for Cheshire digital agency

Cheshire-based digital agency is set to hit £1m in turnover for the first time thanks to a raft of new client wins.

First Internet has also welcomed back Julaine Speight as a director four years after leaving to help meet its revenue target.

Julaine worked for the Hale-headquartered agency for four and a half years, between 2010 and 2015, before leaving to work in the digital team at Tangerine in Manchester.

There she worked with clients including Pizza Hut, Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Jewson, before going on to set up her own agency, JAW Digital in Altrincham.

Julaine returns to First Internet, founded in 1998, as marketing director.

She’ll be heading up the agency alongside Kat Rodway, client services director, and Scott Baxter, head of development, underneath founding director Stephen Alexander.

The move comes as the agency is experiencing growth with several new business wins, including national recruitment company Meridian Business Support, wholesale confectionary specialist Kandy King and family mediation specialist Marcia Mediation.

The raft of new clients sees the agency hurtling towards breaking the £1m revenue figure in just a few short months, with a 60 per cent uplift in profits targeted for the next financial year.

Julaine said: “First Internet has always had a special place in my heart and there are some excellent growth opportunities to be had.  We have a great, skilled team here, all of whom are hungry to push the agency forward as a collective.

“I’ve already seen some exciting client wins since re-joining and am thrilled to grow the agency even further alongside Kat and Scott and the team as a whole.”

First Internet is a full-service digital marketing agency that has been running for over 20 years.  Clients include Greenhalgh’s Craft Bakery, PZ Cussons, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce and Sew Direct.
