New Big Family Festival at Strathclyde Park announced featuring Big Feed

It is beginning to feel like summer- which mean we all have our hearts set on a big day out in a beautiful park with stellar tunes, spectacular food and a few pints.

Enter, Big Family Festival– taking over at Strathclyde Country Park in Glasgow on August 6 and 7.

The free family-friendly has something for everyone, including a kids zone, cycling and sporting activities and a stellar line-up of DJs and musicians.

The event is supported by Big Feed Street Food Social, who are a travelling street food collective with bi-monthly, family and doggy friendly events in Glasgow, with regular appearances at festivals across the country.

There will be a Street Food Village packed with delicious from some of Scotland's finest street food vendors.

From fussy eaters and foodies - you'll get something to suit every tastebud.

Needing to burn off all the grub? You can show of your athletic ability on giant inflatables, climbing walls and more.

Meanwhile Mini Manoeuvres, Scotland's premiere children's entertainment company, will be on hand to provide a wide ranging programme of activities for the wee ones.

Leaving the kids at hame? Fear not, there's also a bar to make sure you're not missing out, with Pernod Ricard on the cocktails.

There's also a Big Feed Pups dog friendly zone with a pop-up shop, a dog bakery and more. So even your four-legged pals can get in on the fun.

A superb line-up of DJs and acts are to be announced too – plus a few surprise guests over on the BIG Festival Stage. When we know, you'll know.

Festival organisers said: "The BIG Family Festival will bring together the best food, music and activities from across the country to create a family friendly day out.

"Entry is free and everyone is welcome – you can even bring your furry friends – we think they might like our doggy friendly area!

The festival takes place at Strathclyde Country Park from 10am until 7pm. So pace yourselves... It's going to be a BIG one.
